ICPA’s Dream Home Open for Tours at PCBC
May 31, 2005 (Arlington Va.) - The Cast Polymer Dream Home,
a full-scale display of cast polymer home products built by Cultured Marble
Products, CCM Enterprises, and Gruber Systems, will be featured at PCBC
2005, a conference for more than 27,000 building industry professionals
scheduled to take place May 31-June 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The Cast Polymer Dream Home, developed by the International Cast Polymer
Alliance’s (ICPA) Strategic Marketing Committee as a visual and
contextual marketing concept to expose the potential of cast polymer products
to a variety of building and construction industry buyers, has toured
the country for the past two years.
“Our objective is to display the Dream Home's four separate rooms
which are outfitted with new cultured marble, onyx, granite, and solid
surface installations at each show,” says ICPA Managing Director
Sabeena Hickman. “The style is arranged by ICPA staff onsite to
reflect the newest trends in kitchen and bath design. We want this to
be a total experience for everyone who enters the display.”
The Dream Home's bath and powder rooms were designed by ICPA manufacturing
member Cultured Marble Products. In the master bath, a 65-inch by 65-inch
cultured granite custom tub deck and skirt with integrated tub complement
a cultured granite bull-nose edged vanity top with a single oval bowl
and a dual-wall cultured granite shower surround with neo-angle shower
pan. The master bath's design conveys a sense of spa-like tranquility
with soothing shades and ample water fixtures.
CCM Enterprises will provide the Dream Home's custom solid surface kitchen
appointment — a large, moss-colored, L-shaped counter installation
in Gruber Systems' Granatex ® line, filled with varying sizes, shapes,
and colors of particulate. CCM's kitchen installation, which tops custom
cabinetry with a single bowl sink, reflects the growing trend toward nature-inspired
décor, using the dark green gradations of Gruber's Myrnite Granatex
® to invoke the depth of a mountain trail.
Gruber Systems will showcase a unique biscuit and white cultured marble
fireplace surround, as well as three new sink designs fabricated in cultured
marble, cultured granite, and cultured onyx.
One of the 50 fastest growing tradeshows in the nation with over 600 exhibitors,
PCBC was founded in 1959 as the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, and
now represents a premiere gathering of building industry professionals
shopping for the latest housing trends and customization options.
